CARBON LASER FACIAL | SKIN CARE THERAPY

An excellent way to exfoliate and refresh your face, our CLF (Carbon Laser Facial) provides an instantly refreshed appearance and glow. Once dubbed the Hollywood Peel, this effective treatment leaves your skin feeling softer, smoother, and firmer.

Using carbon powder (which has a strong capacity to absorb dirt from deep inside the pores) we coat the face and neck with carbon nanoparticles. Following this, a layer of liquid carbon is applied to the skin to penetrate deeply into the pores. A laser light is applied over the area, attracted and destroying the carbon particles to remove dead skin cells, contaminants, and oil.

Carbon targets the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate collagen production, which produces firmer and plumper skin. We can reduce fine lines and wrinkles and leave your skin tighter, which gives you a radiant glow.

The heat that is produced in carbon peels has other benefits, which includes reducing P. acnes bacteria, which prevents outbreaks of acne. It can also help shrink the sebaceous glands (oil-producing glands), resulting in less oil production and reducing the risk of the building up of pores. You can have this treatment on any part of the body, including the back and chest.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Is Carbon Laser Facial painful?

There is no pain associated with this treatment. During the procedure, you may experience slight tingling and warmth on the skin, which is normal while the laser pulses away the thin layer of Carbon.

What are the risks?

There is little to no time needed for recovery after the treatment. In some rare instances itching, flaking and rashes might develop; most usually resolves in a few days.

What to do after?

It is important to practice a good skin care routine following this procedure, as with all skin care treatments. For example, the daily use of a high-spectrum sunscreen.

You will see notable improvements after one treatment but if you are seeking long-term results, it's beneficial to come for regular sessions. 3 - 5 treatments over a period of 2 to 3 months with a booster treatment every six months is recommended for the best results.
